1.8 Update Building

I just thought I would open up a topic to see what ideas everyone is having with the new blocks and items in 1.8. I for one am interested in using banners along walls and slime blocks for jumping around my lot.

I've tried some slime block jumping this morning but I was getting damage.. the blocks were on the ground, I haven't tried with blocks over air.

I would definitely like to replace the water reception with slime blocks on my 240 blocks jump.
