2012 Builds Showcase
With the New Year around the corner, it is an opportune time to demonstrate the strength and unity of this community. You have all shown incredible dedication to this server representing Uncovery in a very positive way. To that end I think it would be wonderful for everyone to display the builds that they have created. Whether it be a Kingdom lot, Aether lot, Empire lot, Flatlands lot, or even the Darklands, I, along with many others I am sure, would like to see the buildings we have built. By posting these pictures now, we can compare and see the evolution and progress taken when we look back a year from now in December 2013.

I haven't been on the server for that much time but thought I'd put in what I've done this year.

Lot: N11
Builders: KidCodiWise
Description: This was one of those ideas that you mess around with in creative and are surprised when it works. This thing is the main reason i barely give anyone permission on my plot. One block moved, and its ruined. Trust me, i've done it twice. It took a couple hours to get the design right and then a day or two to complete. Its the only entrance to my semi-abandoned under ground build/possible new storage. Enjoy!

Looks absolutely amazing. Have you messed around with the border at all? I have never been a big fan of jungle planks, myself. Maybe birch planks would look better.
EDIT: also, are we allowed to put up builds-in-progress in this topic?

Awesome. Then I'll show to you guys where I have been putting the majority of my efforts for the past month or two.
World: Empire
Lot/Coordinates: x20 / x:423 z:-944
Builders: HoldenGs
Description: This is basically a massive tree. I think it's one of the bigger ones on the server. It was molded with netherrack (I got this idea from Daiyamondo) before being coated with jungle wood. It stands around 125 blocks tall right now, but it will be slightly taller than this after the leaves and other various things are added. I plan to put some general useful rooms in the tree once the tree and all of its details have been finished. These rooms will be things like brewing rooms, medium sized storage rooms, transport rooms, etc. It may also have some rooms that are for fun, maybe an arboretum or a shooting range. I hope to get this thing done by the end of January or earlier, if I can. Since this is a build in progress I encourage any feedback you have, it will help me a ton! Feel free to come over and check it out!

I am the project leader, and pluto is pretty much the chief structural designer. It would be difficult to list off all the others who helped.
What this build is, is essentially a 500x500 fantasy, medieval megacity,(in progress) that I like to call Heavens reach. It is currently around 30 percent finished, and has over 80 buildings at this point in time.
