With observers blocks introduced, farming automation can be done much more easily.
Question is, are there any specific limits on amount/usage of observer blocks, in addition to existing rules?

Well, as with everything, it's hard to tell you an exact limit. As a rule of thumb, do it for your own consumption. If you farm enough to sell hundreds of stacks, you are overdoing it.

Got it. My farming can barely fill a chest at a time. Since observer can only trigger redstone circuit when someone's on the plot, it will unlikely create much load.
