Trivia quizzes are common knowledge quizzes that can be held as a quiz master by any user as long there is no other quiz going on at the same time. Any other user can try to answer the questions. It’s upon the quiz master to chose the right questions and to properly chose who has answered the question correctly first.

Here is the process:

• Anyone who want to start a quiz does so by picking the number of questions for the quiz and how much a user has to pay to submit an answer with the command
  /trivia new <questions> <price>
  The new quiz will be announced to the “off-topic” channel. Please keep discussions about the quiz to that channel.
  
• The quiz master will then receive a random question. If the quiz master does not like the question, he can request a new one with
  /trivia find
  Other users will not see the questions.
• Once the quiz master finds a question he likes, he can announce that question to the public with
  /trivia ask
  This command can be repeated to show the same question multiple times to the public.
• Users can now submit each one answer to the question. Answers cannot be corrected or withdrawn. Answers are submitted with the command
  /trivia answer <text>
  Only the quiz master will see the answer, but no usernames so no player can be favored.
• The quiz master can see a summary of the so far submitted answers with
  /trivia check
  There, the quiz master can also see the correct answer for the first time to compare. On the list, every given answer will have an ID which is needed to approve an answer.
• Once the quiz master got good answers, he can approve a correct one with
  /trivia solve <id>
  The question is then closed and the quiz master will immediately receive proposals for the next question.
• If there are no correct answer, the quiz master can skip the question with
  /trivia skip
  Please note that skipped questions will still count into the overall count of questions chosen by the quiz master in the beginning.
• Once all questions are asked, the quiz is automatically closed, the winner is announced and the prize (the money charged for the answers) is distributed among the players who share the highest count of correct answers.

Points to note:

• It’s upon the quiz master to influence the answers of a difficult question. For example, one can encourage players to submit a funny answer instead.
• The quiz master has to find out how long to wait for answers. More answers mean higher prizes for the winner(s), but waiting too long will drive away players.
• Also, if the quiz master waits too long, there is a risk that people simply google the answer…
