Cannot log into server

I get the error:

"Failed to connect to the server
Authentication Servers are down. Please try again later, sorry!"

I have googled mojang/microsoft minecraft status several times. I keep finding green lights across the board. When I check the server website, everything appears to be fine server wise as well.

Help?!?

as of 08:40 EDT 2/3/2016 everything seems to be back to normal.
