Cracked Allowed?

Hey Uncovery, my friend decided to be cheap and get a cracked version of minecraft and he was wondering if he could play on the server with a cracked game. Can he?

Most likely not, I would like to mention that whilst I do not speak for the Uncovery community, Discussion and/or encouragement in regard to software piracy is unethical and I personally believe that it should not be discussed. Tell him the game is 19.95 euros. And at that price it is worth it.

Yep, what OSF said. Cracking a 19.95 game is pretty much ridiculous in my point of view.

Uncovery runs in online-mode, which means all logins are checked against the central login servers. If you don't have an MC account (which you get by buying the game), you cannot log in here. The only way around this would be to steal someone else's MC account, a completely different proposition from cracking.

It is possible not to run a server in online-mode, and there you could theoretically connect from a cracked client. But not here.
