Demonic/Celestial City Ideas and Plans Thread
As many of you know, we will be starting our new demonic/celestial city soon. This thread is where you can post ideas, plans, and pictures of anything you think would fit the theme.
What's the demonic/celestial city?
Ok so we're going to have one large hell-like city, and one large heaven-like city. They will be seperated by a battlefield, to give the appearance that they are at war.
So one with Obsidian, lava, netherrooks and cake, and the other with Air Blocks, Sky Blocks, Cloud Blocks, Light Blocks and Candy Blocks?
Oh, and since hell is lower and heaven is higher, flip everything 90 degrees? XD
I would rather see 3 things:
- The Heaven Real where Celestial City is.
- The Earth Real where most of the battle took place but now are being taken in the upper and downer real
- The Hell Realm where Demonic City is.
You could also do in the Earth Realm the temple of Atlas who's holding the sky from falling on earth/hell (For further info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlas_%28mythology%29) Thought doing that doesn't force us to do the greek style in buildings.
I could also see the Tartarus in hell :D
All that is just general knowledge for me so ask for more if you want :D
I would like to work on the battlefield area......I'm good with that kinda stuff....I agree with Dai definitely obsidian and netherrack/netherrack brick stuff for the demonic city and light stuff for the celestial city.

I suppose it's okay to post ideas, as this city has a small chance of getting started up; however, the towny plugin might not be reinstalled, and I have also decided not to begin building another town.
If towny is reinstalled, Azkedar has offered the possibility of starting a city like this. Just don't get your hopes up
I think it'd be cooler to have a holy city being invaded by hell bursting out of the ground. (In a non-religious, non-offense sort of way)
Sounds cool. Or holy city on a mountain and hell city lower down, and holes in mountain. Like mt olympus i guess
I like this idea. I wouldnt mind helping building hell. Dolomight has an interesting build on his lot (E11) that we could use as inspiration. I hope this goes through!
