connecting builds

i am entering the zombie contest and the 20x20 building so small i so i was wondering if i could connect two different entry's together so i could make my building bigger like enter the contest twice but have my building together so i could have a giant building

yes possible. Please connect them rather with some kind of bridge than making one big building.

o and do i need to have two different wool placements or just 1 big one?

one should be fine. Remember there should be no underground structures.
