I contacted the plugin author of the new chat system and they kindly helped me to figure out what was not working. So please test /tell or /msg and see if that works now.

asgaros-forum domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later.
