So I started migrating plugin settings, and came across the following items:
- The first bunch of plugins worked fine, such as Discord chat. in-game chat, user rights etc
- The cross-world inventories are an issue. They make sure people cannot take stuff from a creative world into survival worlds but that you still can take stuff from e.g. empire into darklands. The old plugin is abandoned and I need to migrate to another. There is a migration function but it only throws an error. I contacted the dev and wait for an answer.
- The world lots need to be migrated from a database to a single-file storage. So I need to
- figure out how to best interface with the in-game lot management plugin
- convert all the code where we right now change stuff in lots (reset, lot manager etc) to whatever the last step results in.
- check out the other plugins that I did not take a look at yet. The main stuff is above however.
Thats very good, but when I have a look on the the map could it be that we lost quite a bit of a bit a of builds by resetting?
Ignore the map please. Everything is just temporary now for development. I will reload a fresh copy of the original backup before we go live. It’s weird though since the lot reset process is not even running.
Can you let give me one specific lot that was reset?
Well, thanks for the update and good luck!
Thank you for the updates, this time is allowing us to get familiar with the new mobs and with the new rules of the Minecraft universe. I am still looking for a pale forest, deep dark and a trial chamber. I will stumble on them eventually.
Oh yes, in local games I’ve tried to find all these.
The Deep dark and its mini-boss would be very impressive to find in one’s lot exploration.
