Is the server down? says bad login

When i try to get on the server, it says Login Failed: bad login. I can't get on the server!!!

Same for me right now. Wonder what this is.

It's not down. I was getting that error earlier but I just had to keep trying and it finally let me in.

THATS IT, I've almost had it and almost smashed the screen, It has said ' Failed to login: Bad Login for the the past 10 MINUTES! What did mojang do this time?

Mojang is running distributed services through Amazon. Depending where you are, you connect to different servers for the login. If the one closest to you has an issue, you cannot login, but others in other places still can.
