Login Issues

I am having yet more trouble with the server. I can't login as it says "Failed to verify username, session authentication server unavailable!" I don't know what this is about, as I have already updated my Minecraft and have tried to re-login multiple times. :(

This is a problem that has been occurring all day for the majority of people. It has nothing to do with you. Persistance is the only thing you can do. Sometimes it logs in, other times it does not. I am not sure what the cause of the problem is.

That error has to do with the minecraft authentication servers. It happens when you're either playing in offline mode, or mojang's servers are down.
