Anyone got some great music to minecraft to? I'm always up for suggestions of new music.

Look up "Two Steps From Hell" on youtube. Its like movie trailer music and you will be so pumped to build things!

Busoni made a piano arrangement to Bach's violin partita #2 (BWV 1004 - Chaconne In D Minor) Helene Grimaud plays my favorite version It really gets me excited to build something epic and Gothic-like. Try playing it while exploring Pluto's cathedral.

Next up for winter building, Rachmanioff's piano concerto #2 and his Rhapsody on a theme of paganini (op 3/2). I suggest Artur Rubinstein for that. (I recommend him for most things)

A playlist of Chopin nocturnes is good for chill mining music.

Chopin's Andante Spianato and Grande Polonaise (the later is my favorite song of all time)

Chopin's Balade #1 and #4

Both of Chopin's piano concertos. Rach's 3rd is cool too. Beethoven's 5 piano concertos while we're at it.

Anything off of Philips "Great Pianists of the 20 century" box set is cool.

If you're just starting off with classical piano "A piano weekend" is a fun into CD to some popular stuff.

I've really been into "Carmen" lately, and this random "French Arias" CD compilation sung by Magdalena Kozena.

When I'm zoning out to some branch mining, I like to put on an audio book or iTune U lecture.

I like the "Midnight in Paris" soundtrack a little too much. I like French Jazz, but more when I'm cooking than building. I can't hear myself think if there are words in music.

I knew sockso would have some good ones to listen to. I agree with him but the trailer music is also my suggestion. Two steps from hell is totally what I was gunna say too! That album is awesome. It makes even washing the dishes feel epic.

As for music suggestions it depends on what you want. Do you want music that has a calm, productive aura like MC? Or just great music to listen to while mining? Because you didn't specify, I'll post some of both.
Having an odder taste in music, I usually get all my music off of Newgrounds which sadly has no playlist option. I'll see if I can wrangle together a handful of clips for you. Also all songs there are free to download so if you like it, no biggie.

P.S. I mostly like electronic music, so get ready for computer generated stuff.

Right. Because Newgrounds music is under the Creative Commons license, people are free to do whatever with them. Such as put them in flashgames, movies, remix them, etc.
