Outdated Server

I saw the posting for this server on reddit.com/r/mcservers today and I thought I would check it out. After completing the registration and receiving the email I attempted to login whereupon I received an Outdated Server error message. I am currently running the 1.1 client that was just released but I can downgrade back to an earlier version. I've dug around a bit on the website and saw some older posts about the server running 1.8 but didn't know if this was still current or not. What is the current server version? Thanks!

Dang it I accidentally updated to 1.1, how do I go back?

I think you can just replace the .jar files with that of the previous version.

I should have the 1.0 client version on my computer at home. If replacing the jar files work, I'll post them someplace if you can't find safe source elseware. (If you google it, there are places that have uploaded 1.0 jar files, but I don't tend to trust such files for fear of something malicious getting slipped in. Though given the fact that I'm new here you don't have much of a reason to trust me either unfortunately. : )

Turns out you can just replace the minecraft.jar file that is in the bin directory.

I see four .jar files, what do I replace all of them with? I tried what you sent but it can't get past the loading screen

Hmm... try replacing the file called version with this as well. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12474072/Minecraft/version

The only .jar file I changed was minecraft.jar

Right click on the link and select "save link as..." (In firefox)
