Snow again?

In 1.9, will my lot turn into a snow lot again? I notice that my grass in d8 is the generic lime green type, and not rich dark grey/green of the northern lands which drew me to those lands...

Only if your lucky and the new seed we use has a snow biome where you are :/ but remember you can move to the new world when 1.9 is out~ the biomes (hopefully) should stop changing there.

We will move to a new map. You can choose a new lot there which would be in a snow biome if you want.
