trying to connect to 1.8.1 uncovery server

i cant connect to uncovery i just updated my minecraft and it says polling......then says unable to reach server

uncovery.net:25565 would be the 1.8.1 server. uncovery.net:25564 is the 1.7 server.

please connect to the IRC chat to talk to people on the server directly
