Unalbe to Connect

i dont know what is wrong but for some reason i got kicked off the server today and when i go to connect to the server it says it cannot reach the server. the website says that the server is up and running. i don't have anything else running on my computer. i even restarted my computer but still it cannot reach the server. Anyone tell me what i need to do?

It's down for everybody. I think the hunger games crashed the server.

all right never mind i just restarted my minecraft and now i can reach the server ty

I have a problem where I have to wait and wait to log on then it says "Took too long to log in" I have never logged on yet because Im new
