Any chance this is related to the issues freenode is having? Their ChanServ went down due to a ddos just 15 minutes or so before this server problem started. Maybe it's just a coincidence though, as I'm not sure how a ChanServ failure would affect the mc server unless some sort of corrupt chat data was stored somewhere. Just grasping at straws here; I have no idea how different plugins work together.

Thanks for all the hard work that you put into the server, the downtime is making me realize how much fun I have been having for the last couple of months here :)
