Minecraft.jar is broken

I just get a black screen whenever I log in after using the MCPatcher that helps preformance on 64-bit Win7 and allows for high def. texture packs.

If I do not use the MCPatcher (which is the newest version btw) it comes on for just a second, says "Java has run out of memory" and then requires a restart, which just does the same thing over again. Both MCPatcher and Minecraft are the lastest versions. Any ideas?

I strongly recommend the following:

back up the whole thing
delete everything (except the backup)
redownload & reinstall everything

Ok now that 1.2.4 is out it seems to work, I've been trying to log in so I don't lose my lot darn it >_< lol
