Trouble with the anvil

Does anybody else have trouble repairing items?

When I try, I have the xp, I add the diamonds, then pull the finished item out. My xp disappears, but the original damaged item and the diamonds fall out. Then when I switch worlds, my XP returns.

I still can't repair.. :-/ I think it's server side. I get both items for a second. But the repaired item disappears when I try to grab it.

I can repair other items, just not my favorite pair of boots for some reason. I am willing to pay someone to try and repair them for me. It should take 22-25 levels. Message me if you're interested. Especially if you're uncovery, and want to see if this is a bug or not. :-D
