Outdated Client

For some reason I am unable to join because I am an "outdated client." Please say why.

Which server? 25564 or 25565?
25564 is 1.8.3, make sure you're not on the 1.9 prerelease.

25564 is no more, 25565 is now the default port (just uncovery.net ) the temp server is disabled for the time-being.

So then what is the 25564?
My minecraft says there's 10 people on it right now, but it won't let me connect to it.

the 10/50 is a dummy signal for server lists scanning the server. There is no server running on that port.

DiamondTree there is nothing to be fixed. If you have a 1.8.1 client, connect to uncovery.net. If you have a 1.9.3 client you will have to downgrade to 1.8.1 since I closed the 1.9.3 server due to bugs that caused excessive processor load on the server.
