Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery?

I recently got a visit from a former regular member Bruhn16, who is now able to use a massive 12GB server in Germany to run his own minecraft world. When visiting the servers website, I discovered a striking similarity to our own, and I told myself: “Well it’s the same software, the same theme – they are bound to look similar. Until I opened some of the pages. Many of them are 1:1 copy-paste texts from my website, such as the rules, the map description etc. I changed some of them on my page in the meantime, but those on his website are still my texts. I think I will have to make more visual and more individual texts so that they are not that easy to use for any minecraft server. But in the end, you can easily identify which texts are from my website: Those without spelling mistakes ;-)

    • Well look at the Rules page. Most of it is copypaste, the Map description was the same on my page before, the first two sentences on the how to join page are from me, the layout and wording from the /kit page is also…
